Hello friends and welcome to our very first home tour!
Today you’re invited to our very first home tour! We’d like to share our home decorated for fall in the English country cottage inspired style. My hope is that you find tips and inspiration for creating the art of your home. C’mon in!
As you approach the front door you are welcomed by deep, rich fall colors of pansies & mums. My husband, Matt & I both enjoy keeping this courtyard area full of English cottage style flowers as the focal point of coming home.

stepping into the entry way you are met with artwork and seasonal décor ~ this sets the tone for the rest of the tour.

This large original oil painting was thrifted for $8. The detail is captivating! These shimmery, soft velvet pumpkins are an easy, fun DIY.

As usual the arrangement on the antique hutch is our favorite part of the fall décor! If you’d like a closer look you can see the English Cottage Fall Hutch video.

The mantel expresses an English library vibe with the antique mantel clock, old books, vintage (thrifted) brass candle sticks, and charming terriers standing guard.

This has got to be one of my favorite places in the house… cozy antique (thrifted) wingback chair, ambient lamplight, cushions, and books. Just add hot tea, classical music, and a crackling fire!

Thank you for coming along for our very first home tour! I hope you enjoyed your visit and will come again soon!
Until next time, take care,
Rachel
