Hello everyone! In today’s post & video we will plant spring bulbs indoors! If you are like me you eagerly await spring each year and the months of January and February seem to be two months long each… to tide us over until the growing season begins let’s plant some bulbs indoors!

Here is the bulb selection. We have elegant hyacinths, cheerful daffodils, and sweet little crocus. I special ordered some apricot tulips for one of the planters and I’m excited to see how they turn out.

For planters I’ve chose two milk glass goblets which will flank either side of the kitchen window. Then for a spring touch on the bar I have a silver soup tureen (thrifted), and a gorgeous vintage looking green. And lastly, a green & white floral porcelain tureen for a centerpiece on the dining table.

All planted! The little blue pot on the upper left will sit between the milk glass goblets on the kitchen windowsill. I love having flowers growing on the windowsill ~ it just feels so homey & makes doing dishes that much better! Do you do little things like this to uplift your daily tasks?

Planting this soup tureen inspired me to go a step farther and create a vignette on the bar. Now we have something green to watch growing every day. Thank you for joining me in our little cottage today as we planted indoor bulbs for spring! Until our next visit, take care.
Warmly,
Rachel
